Remove all traces of nail polish by using a nail polish remover and cotton.
2Soak your nails and fingertips in warm, soapy water for at least five minutes. This softens the cuticles and rinses off all nail polish remover.
3Apply cuticle cream to the base of your nails. Massage the cream into the cuticles. Gently push back your cuticles with a cotton-tipped stick. Never cut your cuticles.
4File the nails into rounded ovals. Make sure all nails are the same length.
5Massage your entire hand with a rich hand cream. Wrap your hands in plastic wrap and leave on at least 30 minutes.
