The Incarnate Word High School opened in 1881 as the Incarnate Word Academy and boasts a beautiful 283 acres of land for its students to enjoy. Schools of the Sacred Heart at Grand Coteau
The Schools of the Sacred Heart at Grand Coteau consists of two campuses. The Academy of the Sacred Heart is the girl's campus and the St. John Berchmans School is the campus for boys. The Academy of Sacred Heart accepted its first students in 1821 and is the only all girls school in the area. One thing that sets this school apart from others is the ESL program.

The Woodlands Academy campus was opened in 1904 but its origins date back to about 1858. Woodlands Academy is proud of its high standards and boasts programs to educate the child as a whole, not in just one area.
