The diet helps you to stave off hunger by spacing meals closer together. It is comprised of whole, natural foods and is designed to keep you energized. According to promoters of the diet, you can eat a wide range of healthy foods without ever feeling deprived or fatigued. And best of all, there is no need for you to count calories.

    Choose foods that are as close to nature as possible. Create your own sauces from all natural ingredients. Prepare meals in the same way. Avoid foods that are high in sugar, refined grains and saturated and trans fat. Alcohol is also taboo.

Any diet that forbids favorites forever is doomed to fail. Use your cheat meal as a reward for sticking to the diet throughout the week. Earn the reward by scheduling your cheat meal at the end of the week.

Get Moving

    The Eat Clean diet promotes regular exercise. Use weight training three times a week for 30 minutes each session to get toned as you slim down. Use your feet to get in shape and burn calories. Park in the last parking spot at stores and work. Take the stairs whenever possible. Take a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood after your evening meal. Spend some quality time with family members by including them in your evening walks.
